Proven Conservative and Police Sergeant
From Afghanistan to DFW, Glen has the experience that counts.

In 1999, my brother and I were in attendance at a youth rally at the Wedgwood Baptist Church, when a gunman interrupted the service and started shooting at us. I’ll never forget that overwhelming sense of helplessness as the gunman pointed his weapon and began to fire. When the shooting was over, my brother and I ran outside the church where we immediately began assisting fire and EMS personnel already on scene. Ultimately, the gunman would kill seven of our friends and injure seven others. That day, I decided I was going to dedicate my life to helping others. I joined the Army one week after the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001. I spent eight years in the Army, including one tour in Afghanistan in 2003. I lost eleven of my friends to the war. After serving in the Army I returned home to Fort Worth where I completed my college education at TCU and started a family.  Currently, I am a police officer and I have the distinct privilege of serving as a Police Training Officer for one of the most respected police departments in the State of Texas.  I am deeply honored that many members in our community including several law enforcement personnel have asked me to run for Constable. I believe I will bring a diverse and unique set of skills to the office and I am ready to make our community a safer place to live and raise a family. When you go out to vote, please show your support and vote Glen Bucy for Constable.
